The latest Demi Lovato rumor seems to have been debunked already. After a number of reports out there have claimed that part of the reason for her entering treatment was “jealousy” towards “Twilight” actress Ashley Greene over her relationship with Joe Jonas, a new source is coming out and saying that is not exactly the case:

“There’s no jealousy involved in Demi’s problems … What she has are (eating & cutting) disorders that need professional help.”

Demi’s relationship with Joe ended before his rumored bond with Ashley began — however, Ashley has been spotted at times during the Jonas Brothers’ worldwide tour earlier this year and Demi was forced to begin working with her ex almost immediately after the two split (which can’t exactly be good from an emotional standpoint).

While there has been speculation that Demi Lovato’s split from Joe Jonas may have been one of the reasons she left their tour to seek treatment, in a new interview, the Jonas brother insists that life on the road with his ex had been drama-free.

“With Demi, it’s been friendly,” he told InStyle, in an interview that took place before Lovato decided to seek treatment for her physical and emotional issues. “There hasn’t been any drama.”

On Wednesday, Lovato’s rep confirmed to MTV News that she would stay in treatment next week, contrary to reports that she would be out by Thanksgiving.

In the issue, Jonas opens up about his love life, noting that he looks for a “great girl” in a potential love interest. “I’ve been able to meet some really nice girls and some not-so-nice girls,” he said about his famous love life. “I always try to be cool and still be friends, but sometimes it’s better not to.”

Jonas, who is now romantically linked to “Twilight” actress Ashley Greene, said he’s willing to use his relationships as potential musical inspiration, just like another ex, Taylor Swift.

“People say, ‘Are you mad that somebody writes a song about you?’ and I say, ‘No, that means I have the freedom to write a song about her,’ ” he explained of Swift.

Joe also dished a bit about what fans might hear on his solo album. “I began writing with a Michael Bublé mentality,” he explained. “I think he’s fantastic, and it’s the perfect music for any date night, ever.”

Just like the Halloween special, but with Christmas instead!

Joe Jonas keeps a tight grip on his girlfriend, Twilight hottie Ashley Greene, as they play a game of pool in Baton Rouge, Louisiana late last week.

Joe played a few games with Ashley’s BFF and costar Kellan Lutz.

Ashley is currently in Baton Rouge filming The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn and Joe had a few days off to visit his girl.

During a recent interview “Sonny With A Chance” star Sterling Knight spilled the deets about which popular celeb would be guest starring on the upcoming Holiday Episode of the show – Joe Jonas!

We hope Demi is ok with her ex-boyfriend being a much-looked-forward-to guest on the show! We know they went on tour together and everything seems to be fine between them, but we’ve also heard that Demi is upset about Joe’s new girlfriend Ashley Greene!
