Joe Jonas Gets Money for His Movie
Filed under: Joe, Project News | Posted by: | September 1st, 2011

Joe Jonas is coming back to the big screen — but not in a concert movie.

The 22-year-old musician tells EOnline about the exciting news, “I was in Mexico City last week and my manager called me and said, ‘The movie’s financed!’ I was, like, in tears.”

“The storyline is still bare bones,” Joe added, “but I will say he has a specific dream that he wants to accomplish, and it’s the good and the bad he has to go through to get there. It’s going to be an older-feeling kind of movie.”

Joe Jonas is Open to Camp Rock 3, Hope Demi Lovato Would Be
Filed under: Joe, Project News | Posted by: | June 24th, 2011

Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers may be only starting to correct their problems, but Joe Jonas still has hope for a third Camp Rock film. The previous 2 did so well and allowed Disney to leave room for other possible outcomes, has caused many fans hoping for a third installment.

During a recent interview, Joe was asked about that possibility of a third Camp Rock film. Joe stated that he would be willing to do a third installment. Yet he did not say if they ever had any talks of that ever happening, nor did he ever deny any related chat sessions. Thus leaving the whole world open to the idea of a third film.

I am not sure how Demi would feel about this, but she may be okay with it. It would be interesting to find out at least from her, about her thoughts on the rumor. At least if we had an idea about Demi’s feelings to see if this is even possible. Then again, all the stars may be okay for it-but Disney might find it to much of a risk? I guess we should all sort of set aside that goal for now and focus on being healthy with ourselves and others first.

Last.fm Trends: Joe Jonas Gets His Jam On
Filed under: Joe, Project News | Posted by: | June 6th, 2011

Joe Jonas has officially kicked off his solo career, with the premiere (with our friends in Chicago) of first single “See No More.” He’ll be hoping to capture the power of Jonas Brothers fans to gain a hit.

Today Last.fm Trends is looking at he and his brothers’ scrobbles, to see what kind of reaction he should be hoping for.

Jonas Brothers count 14,655,029 plays from 411,476 listeners to date on Last.fm, a total that will be hard to reach. Most popular track, the three-year-old “Burnin’ Up,” has a steady Recent Listening Trend that suggests fans are pretty loyal to the band – but whether that loyalty stretches to Joe’s solo effort remains to be seen.

Nick Jonas has gained 815,606 plays from 65,932 listeners with The Administration, and although tracks have smaller listener counts, the Recent Listening Trend is remarkably similar. If Joe can catch on to those fans who’ve stayed with Nick, his fanbase should be assured.

Keep up with Joe Jonas and “See No More” at his Last.fm page. Meanwhile, Last.fm Trends brings you the news in scrobbles every weekday.
